Did you know Easter is a season? The Easter Season, also known as the Great Fifty Days, is a joyful and celebratory period in the church that begins on Easter Day and concludes on the Day of Pentecost. This season commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the subsequent appearances of the risen Lord to His disciples. The Easter Season is a time of profound joy and renewal, as Christians celebrate the victory of Christ over death and the promise of new life. It invites believers to reflect on the meaning of the resurrection and to live as witnesses to the risen Lord in the world.
